Former President Trump has opened up a sizable lead in the presidential race in Florida and Texas one month out from Election Day, a New York Times poll published Tuesday showed.
The survey, conducted by the Times and Siena College, found Trump leading in his home state of Florida by 13 percentage points over Vice President Harris. The former president is also ahead of Harris by 6 percentage points in Texas.
The findings may deal a blow to the idea among some Democrats that the enthusiasm behind Harris’s campaign since she replaced President Biden atop the ticket in July could put Florida and Texas in play.

But they have Harris surging nationally.
She is the most horrible campaigner we’ve ever seen, yet she is maintaining her position in the polls. It seems that Trump has hit a ceiling.
We can only hope to pull out one of the three rust belt states.
If Trump is leading FLA by ÷14 but losing nationally -3 that is just statistic b.s. poll manipulation. If this is the case for Florida then Trump will be winning by 5-6% nationally.
They have 2 1/2 months after election day to raise hell and create chaos. Riots, scuttle the economy, who knows?
Trump will win both by 10+
Shocking!
Sounds like you are up by the Austin area (or maybe Waco). Much like Bexar and Harris county Travis county and by extension a couple of close by counties are fairly progressive. Here is good old South Texas in a county that went Trump +60 in ‘16 and +50 in ‘20 we have no such issues. Trump will win Texas by 7-10 percent (at least)
