In March of this year, Bryan Malinowski, the executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, was killed by agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) during a pre-dawn raid of his home. It was an unwarranted and indefensible killing of a kind that should never, ever happen in a free country like the United States. Because we have a media that no longer serves in its traditional role as a government watchdog, this incident was not widely reported. Because too many members of Congress no longer take seriously their responsibility to protect the rights of those who elect them, the ATF has suffered no repercussions.
How and why did this killing take place?
Bryan Malinowski grew up as an avid collector of coins and, more recently, firearms. He took to displaying his coin and firearm collections at gun shows, where he would occasionally purchase and sell firearms.
Under federal law, it is perfectly legal to buy and sell firearms as a collector or hobbyist, even without a Federal Firearms License (FFL). An individual doesn’t need to obtain an FFL unless he is “engaged in the business” of selling firearms. Congress has defined “engaged in the business” to apply to those who deal in firearms “as a regular course of trade or business with the principal objective of livelihood and profit” as opposed to those who make “occasional sales, exchanges, or purchases of firearms for the enhancement of a personal collection or for a hobby.”
Malinowski already had a livelihood—indeed, as the executive director of the airport, he was one of the highest paid city employees in Little Rock. Buying or selling firearms was something he did in his spare time.

You got that right!
I never did see any reasonable speculation as to “Why?” the feds might have targeted the executive director of a major airport - largest in Arkansas - a hop/skip/jump from the southern border and gateway to the heartland...
Last time I looked, the search warrant was still heavily redacted and the enemedia narrative still reeked of feces. That includes a search moments ago.
“Police in general have gone from being peace officers to being law enforcement officers.”
Worse... They have become Kapos in the internment camp who will sell you out for extra privileges and more bread. They are not equal as citizens, they are a privileged class and no civil laws apply to them. They are above the law and any scrutiny. They do what they want with very little consequence. Just like our Communist Government. They are rewarded for being first and foremost loyal Communist agents without question or thought. They are just like Hitler’s loyal SS.
Sounds extreme right? No... It is our new reality in this new “Justice system”. They consider all civilian citizens as the enemy of the Communist State and “Their” ruling party. And it is proven everyday by their own real actions.
Due to Canadian firearms law, every hunter bringing in any sort of firearm has to register with Canada Customs the type and serial number of their firearms as they cross the border.
This information is then shared with the U.S. government.
Oh, and sidearms are pretty much prohibited altogether.
Sneaky way of registering some rifles, isn’t it?
Wrong premise. They are perfectly under the control of commie trash.
Mind, they should have ratted the trash out when they first appeared. But, being primarily worthless drones, they are also cowards.
Bu, out of control? Nope. Perfectly in line, US Brownshirts.
That is something I never did hear about or I should say, heard about and since forgot. As I keep saying, there’s no way we can retain everything our minds are soaked with every day...
All I remember about an Arkansas airport was something about the Mena Airport and a guy named Barry Seal???? That’s what
google is for, I guess!
It does sound extreme and certainly radical but what choice are we given? Continue to believe as we were taught from childhood that we elect people who will do us no harm? Those elected people will see to it that no other arm of government will harm us either. Their every day actions prove otherwise and there does come a time when we have to face reality as painful as it may be.
I don’t remember my family speaking badly about the government - except when it came to WWII and we lost my mother’s brother on Bataan amid the false promises (lies) of FDR and MacArthur that help was on the way..My parents never discussed politics in our house or who they voted for except for that one subject. I had to get older before I understood.
Our parents/grandparents/great grandparents would be appalled wouldn’t they, to see what this country has become?
All right thinking Americans are also appalled.
New Justice system indeed!!! A pox on all their houses!
Well said. At some point we need to step back and look at the whole picture and see it for what it really is.
"WHERE ON EARTH DOES THE CONSTITUTION GIVE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH A POLICE FORCE?"
The constitutionally limited power (hint) federal government has the power to police enforcement of federal laws that are reasonably based on its very few, constitutionally enumerated powers. The feds can police for counterfeit money for example, which probably wouldn't be the problem that it now is if the corrupt feds had respected constitutionally-mandated gold and silver coins.
On the other hand, the Constitution's drafters distrusted the federal government that they established to the extent that they ordered the feds to STAND DOWN to domestic violence unless a state's leaders formally request federal help in stopping violence, evidenced by the Constitution's Article IV, Section 4.
"Article IV, Section 4 (4.4): The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence [emphases added]."
THE BIG PROBLEM with today's unconstitutionally broad federal police power is this imo. Ordinary citizen voters who have probably never really studied the federal government's constitutionally limited powers have too much voting power, evidenced by the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A; popular voting for federal senators). Consequently, when crook politicians running for federal Senate promise constitutionally naïve voters every politically correct civil right and constitutionally indefensible social spending program under the sun to try to get themselves elected, voters take the bait elect these crooks.
The crooks then establish the unconstitutional social spending programs and constitutionally indefensible rights that they promised voters on the campaign trail to get themselves elected, such programs based on Congress's abuse of 16th Amendment powers (16A; direct taxes), totally defeating the purpose of a constitutionally limited power federal government by doing so.
Are we having fun yet? 8^P
"16th Amendment : The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived [emphasis added], without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration."
"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
The congressional record shows that Rep. John Bingham, a constitutional lawmaker, had clarified the federal government's constitutionally limited powers as follows.
”Simply this, that the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Constitution, is in the States and not in the federal government [emphases added]. I have sought to effect no change in that respect in the Constitution of the country.” —John Bingham, Congressional. Globe. 1866, page 1292 (see top half of third column)
"From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]." —United States v. Butler, 1936.
So it can be argued that abuse of 17A power by citizens who don't have a clue about the fed's constitutionally limited powers has been instrumental in fostering the growth of unconstitutionally big federal government.
Since Congress and likewise renegade states have repeatedly proven that they are enemies of the people imo, it is now up to Democratic and Republican Trump supporters to effectively "impeach and remove" ALL (exceptions?) state and federal lawmakers and executives in November.
In fact, it's up to us Trump supporters to take the first MAJOR step in draining the swamp by supporting hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress, new state lawmakers too, not only so that he will not be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, but will support him to quickly finish draining the swamp.
Supporting Trump to finish draining the swamp includes supporting him to put a stop to unconstitutional federal taxes by leading the states to repeal 16&17A, effectively "seceding" ALL the states from the unconstitutionally big federal government by doing so.
Finally, let's not allow the anti-Trump media try to fade our memories of what we witnessed on July 13.

All the way down to local police.
They really need to learn the limits of their authority, learn the laws they’re supposed to enforce, learn the difference between law and “policy”, and learn some courtesy and professionalism.
And they need to be held personally accountable for their misconduct.
I absolutely agree.
BTW, if you want to search for Free Republic on Google, you have to completely type in “freerepublic.com” before it provides Free Republic in it’s listing.
Now, how would you go about doing that ? Is there a 1-800-see if you are on the list ?
Easy. Did you have to fill an ATF Form 4473 to buy it? If you did since Dec 1968 you are on the list unless you traded it off or sold it.
Last time I checked that pesky constitution thingies, all I could find was four words...Shall not be infringed.....
