DeSantis took Joe Biden’s call - Biden is the one with the title of “POTUS”. Why does he need to talk to Kamala Harris?
Most of us have done this, the old excuse “I tried to call you”.

Kudos to Desantis. I don’t care if he is playing politics. Whatever it takes for Trump to win.

The Harris campaign was all ready with a photographer to take pictures of Harris (with the requisite “concerned” look on her face) talking to DeSantis.
Doing their utmost to make her look focused, determined and Presidential.
Why should he take her call? She’s already proven, via Helene, that she’s not capable of doing anything.
It would be the equivalent of taking a call from the White House gardener.
That would actually be useful.......................
Perhaps NBC could explain to its audience just what role the V.P. has in disaster declaration, prep, recovery, restoration,salvage, distribution,and resources. “NONE” is the short and to the point answer.
So in other words a phone call from her is simply a waste of the governor’s time when he is needed for other more pressing matters.
Unlike P. Trump, who drops in, lends a hand and then leaves.
No fuss, no bother. AND NO paparazzi getting in the way.
That is it in a nutshell. Gov DeSantis is showing the country how to get things done while the democrat national politicians are playing vindictive political games.
