Former Republican Tarrant County judge endorses Allred, slams Cruz at Fort Worth rally

A Republican former Tarrant County judge said he will support U.S. Rep. Colin Allred’s campaign for Senate. Glen Whitley, who served as the Tarrant County judge from 2007 to 2022, made the announcement Oct. 5 during a campaign event for Allred in downtown Fort Worth. In explaining his decision, Whitley cited Republican Sen. Ted Cruz’s loyalty to former President Donald Trump, as well as what Whitley called a “total lack of character” in Cruz.

Glen Whitley is a big hypocrite, he was a covid mask Karen and yet had a big Thanksgiving gathering at his house in 2020.

Glen Whitley recently said this:
“Trump has constantly belittled and, you know, bullied people,” Whitley said. “He’s disrespected our military and our vets, he was convicted of paying hush money to a porn star. And then the thing that broke the camel’s back for me was the insurrection on Jan. 6. “And so that’s the reason I wouldn’t vote for Trump, but the reason that I will support and vote for Harris is the fact that I do believe she wants to lift people up.”

Why doesn’t Paxton start investigating rogue TX judges? I’m sure he could find enough dirt on these scumbags to remove them from the bench.

County Judges in Texas are actually in other parts of the country, would be called county commissioners, and are elected.

Whitley is just another RINO, like Liz Cheney, he didn't run for re-election in 2022.

If I was Cruz, I would not want this creep’s endorsement.

As the vote to impeach Paxton proved, there have been a lot of Quisling Republicans in Texas. Most of them were masquerading as merely RINOs, but they are coming out of the woodwork now. My state rep voted against Paxton and lost in the primary. It didn’t happen enough, but it’s apparently terrifying the secret Quislings.

Same reason why our weasel spineless DC swamp Republicans don’t investigate the FCC for fast tracking Satan’s son SOROS purchasing all those Spanish stations. Though Paxton has more stones than all the Republicans who are constantly cowering under their tables!

Notice the tone of moral superiority, as if woke democrats have ANY morals. The same group that supports infanticide, child mutilation and homosexual depravity.

This filthy “judge” can go pound sand. /spit

Very true and to the point. Texas is so close to flipping and turning into another California. Impossible you say? I live in Texas I see it around me I feel it and I smell it. Little by little Texas is changing by the year. And to make matters worse all the illegals by the multiple millions that have settled in Texas will definitely shift this state over to the communist Democrats. Fort Worth if I remember correctly was conservative at some point now look at it. It is over run with illegals and all sorts of people who have flocked to that booming city with their socialist liberal agendas.

Cruz has my vote - one of the few solid conservatives in the US Senate, and I think he’d make an excellent SC nominee in Trump’s second term.

“””””County Judges in Texas are actually in other parts of the country, would be called county commissioners, and are elected.”””””

They are real judges, with a real courthouse and trials, not just the county’s chief executive officer which is why their title is Judge.

Alas you are right, if it can wait a decade glad I won’t be here to see it. Ft. Worth used to be a fun town. Military, real cowboys and conservative. Now it is a toilet just like every city over about 200K in Texas. Will be sad when Abilene crosses over as well.

Texas has bern a one party Republican state all this century, except in the urban cores. Just as it was when it was a one party D state at the state level, during the new era a lot of ambitious people know if they want to advance as elected officials it will have to be in the party for which they have less affinity.

In a mirror story, Cruz has the DA of Harris county (Houston), a D, supporting him in new advertisements.

Drill down and the Cruz opponent is on about Cruz attitude to the Jan 6 renactment by feebs of the reichstag fire false flag psyop, and the Cruz supporter is offended by D’s import, ignoring crimes by, and wristslapping of foreign criminals.

It is a well known phenomenon in largely one party states. TX was one party Democrat from after CW to 70s. Since, it has been largely one party Republican. You get opportunists in both parties, who run for semi-obscure races, like state district judges, county commissioners, etc. Republicans who run as Dems, Dems who run as Repubs. The races don’t generate enough interest to finance large campaigns. The candidates depend on party line voters. So you easily get some Dem in R clothing who gets elected Tarrant county judge (county executive), and then displays his true colors after leaving elective office. The current Soros DA of Dallas Co ran for state district judge, and was elected, as a Republican back in the 90s.
