RUSH: Speaking of smart, speaking of educated, knowledgeable and so forth, Kamala Harris is a senator, California. She’s reputed to be the female Obama — well, wait. No. That’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is the next Obama. Kamala Harris used to be the next Obama. Okay, she’s the next Obama once removed. And she’s said to be brilliant, like Obama was. And she’s said to be extremely tough, a very, very, very good advocate for the causes and issues of the left.
Well, let’s see. She tweeted the following: “A reminder this Fourth of July, it was eight immigrants who signed the Declaration of Independence. Happy Independence Day.” Eight immigrants who signed the Declaration of Independence. Ms. Harris, it was 56 people who signed the Declaration of Independence, and you further should explore what happened to them.
Because in signing the Declaration, they pledged their lives, their fortunes, their families, and their sacred honor. And many of their families were hounded and killed. But, anyway, there were 56 signers, Declaration of Independence. Of those 56, 48 were born in the American colonies; eight were born in Britain. They were all subjects of the crown like everybody else at the time. There were no immigrants per se. But this is how they bastardize political terminology.

RIP Rush.
I have all of his shows since Sacramento days. His style was unique.
later
I miss Rush.
Dittoes.
I would love to have him back for a multitude of reasons. I know we all miss him but boy - would he ever be having a field day with this campaign!!! I think we can all imagine what he would be talking about every day.
RIP dear man!
So sad this amazingly insightful man was replaced by two guys who too often sound like they are running a vapid sports talk show. (Buck is sharp but too boring to do it on his own,, and his insight is diminished by the often inane commentary from his cohost , Clay). Rush worked and developed a thesis over the years that was simply brilliant. So miss this guy.
He was the best.....one of a kind....What it must have been like when Mark Twain and Will Rogers were heroes of Americans. After them, who did we have? No one that I can recall until Rush...

Me too . Oh, how miss him. I planned my day around his show.
I used to jokingly call his show the daily three-hour LifeLock infomercial. That said, I really do miss Rush.
There will be those who vainly call themselves the “New Rush” or the “Next Rush,” but there will never be another.
Obummer: very lazy and not particularly bright. But good at reading a teleprompter.
CommieLa: not bright at all. But good (actually very good) at cackling and composing word salads.
One of her young woke public educated staffers handed that to her.
Hubs and I were just talking about how much fun listening to Rush would be regarding all the current crazy.
The faux commercials would be hysterical.
It's ironic. I first used to listen to his show to mock him and to prove how stupid he was because he was a “”Republican fascist’’ and how I, The Great I Am(as my Irish grandmother would say) was so smart because I was a liberal and just naturally and so intrinsically smart.
But more and more as I listened I was, well... converted.
Thanks eternally El Rushbo.
“Rush would be having a field day with Kamala’s 2024 candidacy.”
AND THEN SOME ON STEROIDS!!!
Rush as one of the greatest men in my lifetime.
Missed much.
Can you imagine the conversations he and the Lord are having. We had him for just a few years, but Our Lord the Savior has him for eternity. I can’t wait to get there.
The ONLY person, in my eyes, who even comes close to Rush, is Greg Gutfeld. His no-holds-barred commentary mixed with his no-holds-barred humor, and like minded guests to boot, PLUS an in-studio audience! He certainly fills that hole that Rush’s absence left. At least for me, anyway.
Now he only needs to increase his audience by 10 fold.
