A pardon would be good for the illegal entry, but it would not make their continual presence legal. They could still be deported, just not prosecuted for their initial entry.

Their illegal entry implies they are present in the country, I think the two things are equal.

It’s like saying someone who breaks into your house and is caught inside is only guilty of the break in and not being in your house illegally.

Let’s say you’re right, what would prevent Biden from pardoning illegal aliens of both crimes, illegally entering and being present inside the country.

This is a doomsday scenario, I hope it doesn’t happen, researching this during this discussion, Obama was urged to do exactly what I’m thinking Biden will do.

IMO, it would be the most radical thing any POTUS has ever done in issuing pardons.

It may not happen, but Biden will be urged to issue the pardons.
