No mention of a job, that I could spot on a quick review. Sounds like they are promoting indolence.

Not going to dumpster dive, especially in Oklahoma; the State is lousy with cockroaches. I can only do so much; if it was just me, I could save plenty, but my husband likes to spend. I accept the good with the not so good; it’s called love and commitment. Nobody’s perfect, including me.

You will own nothing and....well, that’s about it.

I live in a college town. You’d be surprised how much nice furniture gets set out by the curb during the move-out weeks. I don’t scout for the stuff and I’m pretty discriminating in what I pick up but I’ve found a couple old solid-wood pieces that with some TLC have become really nice pieces of furniture. I usually give the pieces away.

Saving $1500 per year off the food bill?
People could save that much by making coffee at home.
Weak.

If people want free stuff, they can just cruise the backroads in NH.
It’s amazing what we’ve seen at the curb with *Free* signs on them.

And I wondered if she would be one of the free things on the curb.

Ha! My wife recently retired from her 13 year position with a large corporation and as part of that she got a little gift catalog from which she could choose.
I said “get the espresso machine - you spend $6.50 a day at the coffee shop”. (Actually prolly close to $13 as she would pick up a treat for me...)
$6.50 x 365 = $2372.50/yr. 😀
To: nickcarraway
I wish we could kick her to the curb.
