Biden should tell the longshoremen to deal with automation by “learning to code”. It worked for the coal miners.

What about the auto workers. It wasn't always that cars were assembled with robotics. They've survived it.

Labor union bosses have always been a cancer on America. This one is no different. This strike was deliberately timed to inflict great harm upon the U.S. middle class four weeks before an election.

This is the October surprise. They are going to make sure the shelves at your local supermarket are bare when you go shopping the day before election day. Biden is not going to lift a goddamned finger.

This union goon just rejected an offer from management for a fifty percent pay hike across the board for all members-- above their current pay of $147,000 per year. His argument was "Look how much the CEO's of the companies we work for make each year!"

When was the last time you received a fifty percent pay hike?

Spoiled brats.

Bingo! I said this the first time I heard this guy’s comments. He was way over the top to make himself the bad guy here. Democrat enemy Comrade Harris fell right into the trap and has “endorsed” the strike, thus Super gluing herself to the misery it will cause. Be naive and think this is on the level but ask yourself this Latin phrase Cui Bono? It means Who Benefits?
Trump benefits and in the long run it will cost dock workers nothing as they will demand and get back pay.
THIS is how you fight dirty.
I love it.

Ok, so again, Harris is VP. Why didn’t she call Joe and ask for the Taft Harley cooling off period to be invoked?

This reminds me of the strikes when Carter was president.

“head of the dockworkers union is ‘a Trump guy’”

I’m sure the decision to strike does not rest on any single person, Trump guy or not.

Why has the Biden administration not immediately acted under its authority granted by the Taft-Hartley Act? This is a national security threat.

The head of the union is a mob guy whose buddy was WHACKED and later found decomposing in a car trunk in 2005.

Mob Guy
https://x.com/mualphaxi/status/1841148551646286258
Harold Daggett, the ILA boss who pledged to “cripple” the United States, owns a 76-foot yacht, a Bentley, and gets paid over $900,000.

He was acquitted on RICO charges after the main witness against him, mobster Lawrence Ricci, was found decomposing in a car trunk in New Jersey.
