Two years after suffering a stroke, Frank Fritz from “American Pickers” died.
He was 60.
His former co-star and long-time friend, Mike Wolfe announced Fritz’s death on social media, writing “It’s with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night.”

The show fizzled when he left. Mike said though that he and frank were close friends at the end, and frank said Mike was there with him while he was recovering from his health issues. I think frank had Crohn’s disease which would have made it pretty difficult to be on the road a lot.
May he find the mother of all “honey holes”...RIP
Now that I think about it, I remember Mike Wolfe mentioning in a few episodes Fritz wasn’t with him because of his health issues.
60 though......man that’s young. SMH
60... That’s way too young.
Frank spent his life finding precious things... But the most precious thing in the world is your health. Sadly, his wasn’t kind to him. I have many friends who’ve had strokes and the sad part. There is no rhyme or reason.
Too bad, he is gone too soon. I didn’t know he had a stroke. I wonder what his cause of death was.
.
Dead at 60 because of stroke. THAT is totally unacceptable.
Want to know WHY I say ‘unacceptable’? Because I am 60!
Wonder who in authority signed off on this atrocity. (Well, no not really. The short list of those
who are on that list with that authority is really, REALLY short…
“Because I am 60”
Then you should understand how I feel at 64. Lol!
I liked the show and always liked to see Frank in it. Sad to see he’s gone now. R.I.P. Frank Fritz.
Frankie the bundler.
“Frankie the bundler”
Yep, and you knew when he started that crap the seller was gonna come out on the short end of the stick.....every time. SMH
Cause of death was Comp.ications from the we stroke I beleive
Agreed- too young.
I don’t think so, ya old geezer! LOL!
One of my sons has Crohns. After a couple years of IV treatments he decided to have the offending section of intestine removed. So far he hasn’t had any real problems since. I hope your daughter fares as well.
“No, I can’t do $900. How about we cut it in half?”(makes sawing motion with hand on other arm)
Whatever faulty genes she has, she got from me, as I have Ulcerative Colitis, 30 years now. We don’t even have an idea yet of what her treatment will consist of. I hope and pray that her case is mild. My Colitis has been moderate, but it did end up costing me my liver, as I was eventually diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis and received a new liver in 2021. I can certainly counsel her with my experiences through the years, but certainly understand the differences between the two diseases.
What’s weird is I was diagnosed when I was 40. She just turned 40.
Life can sure be funny sometimes. I wish your son all the best!
I saw an episode where he offered Rick Neilsen of the rock band Cheap Trick $1500 for one of his guitars he had traveled all over the world with.....it was truly a cringe worthy moment.
I’m sure collectors or fans of the band would have gladly paid 10 times that amount for the privilege of owning it.
Yes if the guitar was played by Rick at a show and it was a quality instrument.
As I recall Nielson lent the guitar to them to display in their Nashville store.
