Why would anyone rewatch Game of Thrones? Masochism?

Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon along with the Sopranos are icon shows.
True Detective doesn't come close to either.

While we bought The Wire DVDs and have watched many times, EVERYONE needs to watch: Chernobyl.
I have always been amazed that this incredible series was produced by HBO. From the first minute, to the very end, they tell the unvarnished truth about not just the Chernobyl debacle, they depict the USSR, and communism as it truly is.

I have not watched an HBO series since the old HITCHHIKER series of the 1980s. The equivalent of an “R” rated Twilight Zone.

Succession had only two good seasons. The third was just treading water and killing time, and the fourth was awful.
I’d put in a good word for Deadwood and Six Feet Under. Boardwalk Empire started out good but fizzled out at the end.
The Sopranos was definitely the best. Some shows just got pulled too soon, like Luck and Vinyl.

The limited series, The Offer, about making The Godfather, is also worth watching.
