She sold generic fluff to the masses, fun, frivolous, playtime stuff, and now she has taken a stand against a lot of them, and for a lot of them, and on a lot of issues of the two political parties, grown up stuff, mean stuff, stuff that people over 18 have to make choices about and that many have firm and important feelings about, now her fans are separated from each other and a lot of them are separated from her.
She just introduced some serious rust into her powerful image machine.
I don't think so. Her fans are not deep thinkers. She is turning off people who have no interest in her to begin with.
I don't see this as hurting her career in the least. That's just wishful thinking
