Beer Battered Onion Rings
Featuring sweet, Vidalia onions and a zesty dipping sauce. This smaller batch is super easy.
Ing 1 large Vidalia onion (thinly sliced) 1/2 cup flour 1/2 tsp b/powder 1 tsp coarse salt 6 oz beer (1/2 can) 1 large egg 6–8 cups Canola oil
Steps Mix smooth beer, egg, flour, b/powder, salt. In batches, dip onions to coat. Fry in 375 deg canola oil crispy/brown, 3 min. Drain on p/towels. Repeat w/ rest onions.
Dip: 1/2 cup mayo 2 tbl ketchup 1 tbl lemon juice 1 gar/cl minced 2 tsp Cajun spice pinch coarse salt
