The fact that Ukraine was part of Russia from about the time of our declaration of independence, 1776 or so, up until about 1990, says that the situation is different than in some other invasions. There really were ethnic Russians in those lands. That dynamic alone says we have an onion to peel. I suspect that obama allowed the takeover of Crimea and Biden the invasion because they actually supported putin. I suspect nothing happened on Trump’s watch because he actually supported a neutral Ukraine.

You have to answer the question of would the Ukrainian people have been better off in a Russian occupied section of Ukraine or under the current conditions caused by Zelensky’s attempt to drag NATO into its territorial dispute in a desperate attempt to hold on to his dictatorial power.

This war was none of our business. The more money we send there, the more Ukrainians will die. For what? Pride?
