I always cringe a little when words from a movie or play are attributed to the character or the actor spouting them. The quotes should be attributed to the writer (or the real life person who said them.)
In most cases, the “deep” quotes you see on the internet are not accurate. But they sound good.
I find the best source for accurate quotes being the “Deep quotes by Jack Handey”, such as
““Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, you’ll be a mile from them, and you’ll have their shoes.”.”
Reminds me of how people think Tina Fay pretending to be Sarah Palin “I can see Russia from my house”
