AND unauthorized use or possession of a decryption enabled radio is illegal.
The old 1934 law only punished misuse of communication not intended for you,; in 1976(?) the new law punished the ability to monitor .

The article says that the radios went silent the day after the State Troopers arrived to help out Springfield Police. I suspect that the State Troopers have the resources to help hide the radio transmissions. I wonder if the help the State Troopers are there to provide is covering up the trouble caused by the immigrants that would probably help out the Ohios Haitian charity Governor too.
