When German troops took control of Kyiv in 1941, they were welcomed by “Heil Hitler” banners. Soon after, nearly 34,000 Jews — along with Roma and other “undesirables” — were rounded up and marched to fields outside the city on the pretext of resettlement only to be massacred in what became known as the “Holocaust by bullets.”
The Babyn Yar ravine continued to fill up as a mass grave for two years. With as many as 100,000 murdered there, it became one of the largest single killing sites of the Holocaust outside of Auschwitz and other death camps. Researchers have noted the key role locals played in fulfilling Nazi kill orders at the site.

That includes an updated law passed last month criminalizing antisemitic acts. Unfortunately, the law was intended to address a pronounced uptick in public displays of bigotry, including swastika-laden vandalism of synagogues and Jewish memorials, and eerie marches in Kyiv and other cities that celebrated the Waffen SS.
In another ominous development, Ukraine has in recent years erected a glut of statues honoring Ukrainian nationalists whose legacies are tainted by their indisputable record as Nazi proxies. The Forward newspaper cataloged some of these deplorables, including Stepan Bandera, leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), whose followers acted as local militia members for the SS and German army. “Ukraine has several dozen monuments and scores of street names glorifying this Nazi collaborator, enough to require two separate Wikipedia pages,” the Forward wrote.

GloboHomoPedoNazi is the ONLY Existential Threat to Humans on the Planet.
Ukraine is the main vehicle for that Threat.
Ukraine MUST lose or turn on GloboHomoPedoNazi for the Civilized Human Race to survive on Earth.
GloboHomoPedoNazi MUST be completely destroyed FIRST, before any other challenges.
No one who stands with GloboHomoPedoNazi can be Decent, Ethical, Moral or Productive.

Yet you posted it to yourself because you really do have the belief that It’s OK if your side does it, but it’s not OK if the other side does it.
The GloboHomoPedoNazi Belief.
“This attempt to paint the Ukrainians as Nazis is just an attempt to dehumanize them and justify Putins actions.”
No it isn’t. It is an attempt to prove we have absolutely no just reason to be involved at all or support EITHER side.
There is a huge difference. Not wanting to be there at all is not supporting Putin. It is voting for “none of the above”.
Why should we be pressured into supporting one team or the other by biased peers when we don’t even like the sport in the first place?
BOTH sides are wrong...
You must excuse me if I believe you are being disingenuous. Why post the article if not to tar all of Ukraine?
Ukraine is fighting for its independence and survival, not for “GloboHomoPedoNazi.” Nor is Russia fighting against “GloboHomoPedoNazi.” They are fighting to resubjugate Ukraine to Mother Russia. A Russian victory will not be a blow for freedom; it will be an act of subjugation.
OK, I will post it directly to you. You have yet to show me where Ukraine has engaged in terrorism.
No, both sides are not wrong. Russia has invaded another country and bombed its cities. Ukraine is fighting to stop that invasion and preserve its independence. There is no moral equivalency between the two sides.
In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Ukraine's Nazi problem is real, even if Putin's 'denazification' claim isn't, Petrosius wrote: I've never seen any assertion that all Ukrainians are Nazi's. Certainly, I've never said all Ukrainians are Nazi's. You must excuse me if I believe you are being disingenuous. Why post the article if not to tar all of Ukraine?
Actually read the article. It's all about 'Russia is evil' and only posts about the Ukrainian problem with Nazi ideology because they knew it was going to be an issue and they wanted to 'handle' the issue up front.
I excerpted the part that I did because when I have posted about the problem with Nazism, I was always told I was making it up, that Russia is worse re Nazism etc. The hypocrisy of the MSM stands out.
But why bring it up at all? Nazism is not is not the driving ideology of Ukraine. Of those small numbers (and it is a small number) that do display Nazi symbols, most are doing it as a way to signal opposition to Russian dominance, not to promote racist Nazi ideology. It is similar to southerners in the US flying the Confederate flag. They are not promoting slavery or secession. This whole Nazi issue is nothing but a canard to delegitimize Ukraine in its struggle for independence against the Russian invasion.
“No, both sides are not wrong. Russia has invaded another country and bombed its cities. Ukraine is fighting to stop that invasion and preserve its independence. There is no moral equivalency between the two sides.”
That is the official government approved narrative for sure.
Yes they are. You obviously do not understand the dominoes that fell first in that chain of cause and effect. You do not understand the bigger whole picture. The fault is our own. We planned and caused this conflict.
For every action there is always an opposite and equal reaction. There is always cause and effect. There is never an effect without a cause.
I am afraid that you are buying the Russian line. Read what Putin has actually said about Ukraine. He, and many Russian nationalist, do not accept Ukraine as a fully independent country. In their view, Ukraine is nothing but a product of the anti-Russian west; it is not a real country. I know all of the excuses that Putin has given. I just do not buy them. The only domino here is that, under a weak Biden, Putin thought he could get away with resubjugating Ukraine to Russia, correcting the mistake of Lenin in recognizing its independence. All else is just a smokescreen to hide this.
“I am afraid that you are buying the Russian line.”
It was predicted to happen LONG before it happened. The writing was on the wall and clearly easy to read.
Nor would any self-respecting zeeper!
The problem is the US is funding, and has funded Ukraine - it's a problem for a number of reasons, one of which is the 'Nazi' problem, which is so vigorously denied. NATO's proxy has a Nazi problem! The government of the Ukraine props up and utilizes the Azov Nazi's which the government has incorporated into it's National Guard. C'mon - how much of an embrace of Nazims is that? But when Americans don't want to fund such people, we're deemed 'Putinista's or whatever, to indicate we blindly obey propaganda directives, rather than openly object to the funding of Ukraine, all things (including Nazims) considered.
Russia invaded Ukraine primarily because they opposed the expansion of NATO into Ukraine. The war actually began in 2014 when we helped to overthrow the pro-Russian president of Ukraine, and then helped to install a new government that began persecuting Russian populations in the Donbas.

Notice how NBC continues the deceptive tactic of labeling all anti-semites as “far right.” This is a smear designed to imply that persons with conservative opinions are inherently prone to anti-Semitic views, and that anti-semites are aligned with the Republican Party. There is nothing in the conservative philosophy (limited government, low tax rates, self-reliance) that in any way aligns with anti-semitism. In fact, in the current political climate, anti-semitism is much more common among the Left, as evidenced by anti-semitism among students on the elite campuses, plus anti-Semitic remarks by certain Democrat members of Congress.
