Yes, Kamala Harris is talking to the press more. Is it enough?
Columbia Journalism Review ^ | 9/23/24Colubia | Jon Allsop

Posted on 09/23/2024 3:24:56 PM PDT by DallasBiff

“She’s not sitting down for regular interviews or fielding questions from the press, certainly not to the degree that her counterpart, Donald Trump, is.” “She’s a very busy person.” “I think she should be doing more. This is the most exhaustive oral exam for any job on the planet because it’s for the most important job on the planet, and part of it is unscripted interactions.” “Kamala Harris is not running for perfect; she’s running against Trump.” “I don’t think it’s a lot to ask for her to sit down for a real interview, as opposed to a puff piece in which she describes her feelings of growing up in Oakland with nice lawns.” “When you move to nirvana, give me your real estate broker’s number and I’ll be your nextdoor neighbor. We don’t live there.” “I talk to swing state voters all day.… They’re not here for the soft interviews.… She needs more interviews.” “People should not read too much into what some have described as a shortage or a lack of interviews in the first six weeks of the campaign.”

The poor naive kid journalism student is probably in debt for $250.000 that goes straight to Columbia University coffers, and he expects a bailout with this puff piece.

Get back to me Mr. Allsop when you have paid off your college debt by yourself, and not the taxpayers.

Kamala anyway is avoiding independent interviews like the plague.

She can’t even handle pre-scripted interviews.

She wasn’t supposed to be in this position. Biden was supposed to be the nominee and she would be forgotten by now, but things went wrong in a hurry. Now the Dems have a candidate that nobody really likes and is utterly unprepared for the job.

Kamala should sit down with Willie Brown for a real “interview”.

Historically the Vice President has had nothing to do, other than to break tie votes. He or she can preside over the Senate but that can be passed off to someone else.

The fictional Vice President Alexander Throttlebottom spent his time feeding pigeons in the park. The only way he got to see the inside of the White House was to join a tour group with other citizens.

National Review used to mock LBJ when Kennedy was President as "Long Lost Lyndon Bird."

Starting with Mondale Vice Presidents have been assigned tasks, but ultimately it is still the President's responsibility. So even though Kamala did nothing as "Border Czar" the mess is Biden's fault.

In the first two years, Kamala broke many tie votes (33 to be exact). She should be pinned down on those.

She grew up in a place where people were proud of their lawns. I mean, what else does anyone need to know?

Here are some Westmount lawns which I'm sure the owners are very proud of.
