Mainstream news propagandists are busy touting Dick Cheney’s endorsement of KamaLOL Harris and Tim the Walrus as proof that their brand of communism appeals to Americans across party lines. I don’t know what’s funnier — that Democrats have become Cheney superfans or that they think his opinion holds any sway with conservative voters.
Ol’ Dick is about as popular among regular Republicans as Hillary Clinton is — which is to say, his endorsement is the kiss of death for any candidate unlucky enough to receive it. Since Commie-la and the Walrus won both war criminals’ thumbs-up, I’m surprised the Democrats’ installed ticket hasn’t gone up in a puff of smoke. Following Dick Cheney and Hillary Clinton down any path is like taking a shortcut to Hell.
Savvier political animals on the left know that Darth Cheney does nothing to push the electoral needle toward Giggles-a-Lot (I think Liz Warren gave Kam-Kam that Cherokee name). I’ve looked at polling breakdowns many times over the last decade, and there is just no sizable contingent of former Bush/Cheney voters who prefer Biden/Harris/Xi over Trump. The Pravda press make it seem as if there were some huge faction of “True Conservatives” (darn it, now I have to mail a royalty check to Bill Kristol) out there whose defection will sink Trump’s chances, but that’s all horse pucky. Trump enjoys historically high levels of Republican support.
Pretty much all the pro-Cheney/anti-Trump “Republicans” in existence have lucrative gigs on cable TV. Most of those simps ran the losing political campaigns for John McCain and Mitt Romney or worked as left-leaning speechwriters for Bush: Part II. There’s even a former Republican National Committee chairman who worked hard to get Biden and Harris “elected” (Who knew that Steele could be so malleable?).

Maybe this is reverse agitprop. Dick Cheney knew that coiming out for Trump would actually give the left a big rallying point, so he says he supports her and cements the hard right for Trump.

But even Chruchill and Washington had people who hated their guts. Washington had Benjamin Rush hating on him, Churchill had many.
Then, you had the weird case of Churchill getting the heave-ho from the ingrate communist British people after Churchill literally saved their worthless limey asses in WW2.
I chalk all of the above up to jealousy, pettiness, biting the hand that feeds them, i.e., the WORST in human nature. But basically the RINOs hate Trump because he has complete disdain for "politics" and "politicians" or whatever kind of tap-dancing the j-o political class calls work.
Trump just does what they do, effortlessly and superbly well, WAY better than they do it. PLUS he does a lot of WORK work, and has infinite worries running his many properties and dealing with his thousands of peeps. He is the pure executive, a crucial decision-making machine.
Their contempt of Trump is to me and many I hope his seal of approval.
Where am I going with this rant?
They can never be convinced that Trump is a good guy. Never. The more Trumpy he is, the more excellent and decisive and successful he is, the more they hate him. They are just losers, blind to being losers the way a fish is blind to what water actually is.
Maybe not a good simile. Fish are smart. Smarter than them. They probably like Trump.

I don’t believe they are turncoats...they lie. Easy to convince us if they say the right things that we want to hear. They know how easy it is to fool the electorate.
I campaigned for the Romney. I voted for McConnell when I lived in KY. GW etc Etc
This has happened to me too many times, where now I don’t trust ANY of them. We don’t know the deals....heck we don’t even know who is running our country.
I’ll vote for Trump again. But....who knows. How can we?
