“Panic now!!!”

Panic? Not necessarily, but if you live dead in the middle of the current projected path like I do you’re an idiot if you’re not thinking about your preps. Will it change course? Maybe, maybe not. Will it be just a big thunderstorm? Maybe, maybe not. But I won’t be sitting in the dark watching my freezer full of meat spoil because I didn’t have enough propane (I run my generator on propane).

I live in coastal central Florida and stop stocking my freezer in May.
Almost october and my freezer is down to a few chickens some rib and pork cuts and home grown vegetables I didn’t can.
Eat it down all summer.
I run just run 1 fridge and the freezer 8am to 10 pm during hurricane outages

That should be for every hurricane season not just the forecast path of this particular storm.

Why so many FL residents seem to not be prepared for every hurricane season is beyond me.

Hurricanes are a given in the Atlantic. It's just when and where and how bad. And since you never know, the best option is to always be ready. That way you can sit back and clean your guns or something productive, instead of fighting the crowds for water, food, and gas that's all running out because nobody else is ready.

Heck, the worst we get in NY and NH is a rough winter. And I'm ready for that. EVERY YEAR.
