I was never notified: Kaspersky anti-virus is being BANNED in the U.S. I have until the end of September to find another software!

Mac.

This is the right answer. These days, unless you are a Windows developer or a hard-core gamer, it isn't worth putting up with Microsoft on the desktop.

“Why would you want to give the KGB a backdoor into your computer systems?”

Pretty sure the KGB doesn’t WANT to know what is on my computer. Biden might, but the KGB would be bored to death monitoring mine.

That’s exactly what happened to me. The new product just magically appeared on my desktop. Hope it works as well as Kaspersky, which is an excellent product. As for the Biden administration, FJB.

If you are using Windows adequate antivirus protection is now included. There is no longer a need to pay for anything else, and the multi-billion$ corporation I work for does not.

“Textbook fascism.”

Yep, it is our new reality. Here is one for you...

I use the NoScript browser utility app to block 3rd party scripts. It has an option feature to click on the script sources and do more background research on each one. One of the “forensic script checker” tools in there is called “Blacklight” and advertises it’s self as independent information and not affiliated with any parties. The “non-profit” organization who shares the service is called “The Markup”.

https://themarkup.org/blacklight

https://themarkup.org/about

They are an outright leftist Communist propaganda organization working with the government to mark conservative domains as untrusted and hide leftist spy domains as trusted. In fact known leftist and government spy scripts are filtered as “Blacklight has no results for this source” or “Blacklight is not working right now try back later”. It will not expose any spy scripts tied to the leftist Communist party or the government intelligence agencies. It just simply will not even check these known spy scripts. So they absolutely know which ones are...

While they tout themselves as being on the side of the user to protect them from hidden scripts... They are supported by OpenNews, ProPublica, CalMatters, Knight Foundation, Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, and The Ethics and Governance of Artificial Intelligence Initiative.

It used to be honest about what was hitting us, but about a year ago they started to work with the mass surveillance agencies. So it has become useless to those like us. There are a LOT of fraudulent turncoats now in the industry. And I suspect the government is paying them tax dollars and providing industry protection to play along with them.

To the Democrat/Communist Party, illegal aliens are good for only one thing: Presumed votes. Otherwise, to the Democrat/Communist Party, illegal aliens — human beings most are — are worth less than the vile sh*t that spews hourly from the mouths of the Democrat/Communist Party leaders ... and even less than F-Joe Biden is to them now (well, his “value” all along, for that matter).

Kaspersky got their first ban in the US in 2017, Trump signed a bigger ban on them in 2018.

And honestly you don’t have to find another. Windows Defender works great. Having a second AV is just wasting CPU cycles.

Agreed. The internet security software in Windows 10 is sufficient. Now if you’re running an older O/S like I do at times (Windows 7), then yes, you need another software package. I use Comodo.
