A Ukrainian kamikaze drone strike reportedly struck Vladimir Putin's Satan-2 nuclear missile, prompting an apocalyptic explosion yesterday morning.
A secret ammunition silo facility at Toropets in Tver region that housed one of the Russian President's nuke missiles was hit by Ukrainian drone, it was claimed yesterday.
It allegedly happened just ten miles from an 'indestructible' 30,000 ton munitions storage site that had been obliterated on Wednesday.
A huge explosion was triggered when the 'Satan-2' missile was hit, causing locals to panic over fears of a Doomsday detonation.
The claim that the missile was destroyed came from a Russian Telegram channel and a news blackout intensified the rumour.

I hope not. I’m going on a cruise next month.
Torpets is due West of Moscow. The prevailing winds run East to West.
If a nuclear warhead had detonated, the NY Times would have reported yesterday. We would not be reading about it first in the UK DailyMail.
No not at all, what could possibly go wrong with Kamala in the white house.
The article says they did it with US intelligence help. And this gives a new meaning to the phrase Use em or lose em. There could be radioactive contamination I would expect. And it could have been expelled high into the atmosphere to land on lots of people in far away countries. Not very bright.
“No not at all, what could possibly go wrong with Kamala in the white house.”
Well I saw a pic of the missile on DM’s site and I can see Kamala using it as sex toy. It’s just her size.
Poll question;
If Russia were to attack the US now would you rather have the current administration in charge more than a Trump transition team ?
No, these destroyed nuclear weapons need no longer concern the West - or anybody else.
The nuclear arsenal of the aggressive autocrat V. Putin has now been reduced by two. I.e., there are now two fewer nuclear-tipped missiles aimed at, say, a U.S. military base. Grounds for celebration!
Regards,
A cruise ship on the ocean would be a great place to be if nuclear war breaks out. Of course the ship might have trouble finding a port to dock in.
If Russia were to attack right now I’d hope they would throw the democrats out
US missiles, intelligence and satellites being used on targets a couple hundred KM from Moscow.
How do you think this is going to turn out?
unreasonably sanguine
Nuclear weapons contain nuclear material. The weapon may “be destroyed” but that nuclear material has to go somewhere. NATO countries will get hit first, which is a comforting thought. 🫤
The prevailing winds go toward Siberia.
It is indeed an odd situation, both America and Russia are so far under-reacting to clear and present threats. In the case of America, the threat is posed by unknown numbers of dangerous individuals loose inside borders, with as yet undefined goals. Given the lack of concern in DC, I wonder if these people are to be available as a goon squad to circumvent normal procedures in some coming managed crisis? For Russia, there is a clear under-reaction to the Kursk incursion and now this latest strike. Is that because a more predictable response would destabilize the profitable war that never ends?
It leads one to speculate that there is some sort of collaboration, a mutual agreement to ignore these risks, possibly because some outcome is already pre-determined.
One wonder what this outcome is, and if we’ll be told about it in future days of total news manipulation.
I drew the conclusion early in the Russia-ukraine “war” that it was a managed crisis acceptable to so-called enemies, so all could get very wealthy. I am not saying there is no war, but it is being managed to appear greater than it really is, the tell is that war fronts have moved very little since being established in 2022. Sound and fury to justify large military expenses. Who profits? Whoever is killing (or scaring off) critics in both America and Russia. We know who that is.
The vast majority of the radionuclides will precipitate as fall-out in Russia, itself. Belarus would likely also get a significant portion. (Which would be poetic justice.)
Please remember that these were not nuclear explosions in the actual sense of the word (if they were nuclear at all - I'm waiting for scientists located downwind to report actual readings).
NATO countries will get hit first, which is a comforting thought.
No one harboring ill will towards our NATO allies deserves to be on this board.
Regards,
Oh, really? Then what is your take on the matter?
Regards,
Not really.
If they move to launch on warning for even a conventional drone strike we all end up paying for Ukraine’s stupidity.
You want to know how close we came when both sides were on launch on warning? Read about Able Archer 83, and how one Russian colonel saved us all.
That’s what can happen when we are on a hair trigger.
Since the explosions weren’t nuclear, it is primarily plutonium dioxide (PuO2) which is airborne.
