No other first-world nation takes more than one day to count all their ballots and be done with it.

The more high-tech ballot-counting solutions we implement, the longer it takes to tally the results.

We used to tally all the paper ballots on the night of Election Day and knew the winner by the next morning.

It’s preposterous that old hand-counted paper ballots could deliver a result in a few hours and the machine-counted ballots take days or weeks.

That is a strong confirmation of one thing — massive cheating.

How strange...the population tripled but we couldn’t afford to hire any more vote counters.

That’s the dumbest argument I’ve ever heard.

Argument? I didn’t say anything about an argument. I was just pointing out how stupid your post was and why.

But identifying who voted a certain ballot negates the promise of “secret ballot”.

Don't need to for proper chain-of-custody.

I worked the past three elections. They come in and identify themselves, you verify their eligibility and hand them a ballot, they fill it out and cast it, you keep the ballot in the bin. At the end of the day you know all the ballots in that bin were from properly identified voters who filled it out themselves.

You have no idea about anything with ballots dumps from the mail. The alleged voters were not properly identified and their eligibility was not verified. All you have at the end of the day is a pile of anonymous ballots with no validated provenence.

See the difference?

“We used to tally all the paper ballots on the night of Election Day and knew the winner by the next morning.”

It used to take weeks before the winner was determined as many states didn’t use the winner take all system when determining EC votes. Nobody was really sure of the outcome until the Electors met and voted and that didn’t happen till December.

Tallying stopped between 0100 and 0500 on 11/6/2024 for routine maintenance. Start back at 0501 and sir prize sir prize! Deficit gone and someone just got a ton of votes in. Weird I know.......

We’ve had 4 years to deal with it. If it’s not fixed I’d blame republicans.

This is why I'm not encouraged about the outcome of this election. Republicans don't control most of the areas where the vote fraud happened in 2020 and in areas they do control the ones in office have done NOTHING to prevent fraud this go round (looking at you in Georgia, governor Kemp). There is virtually nothing to stop the dems from fraud this time around. We can say we're watching closer this time but if nothing they've gotten bolder after getting away with it in 2020. They won't hesitate to do it again and some inner city judge will step in to stop any challenges.

Florida used to be a perennial source of election hijinks (remember Bush vs. Gore) until DeSantis took office in 2019 and promptly fired the election commissioners in Palm Beach and Broward counties. These two counties were responsible for almost all the dirty tricks in Florida until that time. Suddenly Florida elections started running smoothly & efficiently, and we became a reliably republican state once those two counties could no longer manufacture votes for the dems. Those two election commissioners were radical leftist female "POC's". It's funny how things got cleaned up almost overnight with those two crooks gone. Unfortunately no other state seems to have put any effort at all into cleaning house to ensure free and fair elections so I'm expecting a repeat of 2020.

The only difference is that we can post it on X so everyone can see a livestream.

Elon Musk will comment on what's happening. But will that make a difference?

You are off base. Mail-in ballots must meet all rules.

No Signature, No Ballot. No Date, No Ballot, No real address, No Ballot.

No Timeline, No Ballot.

Claiming people are to stupid to get an ID isn’t going to work.

i went to bed about @ 2:00 in the a.m., Central Time, on 01/04/2020 and the PA results at that point:
From PA results as of Last Updated Time: Nov 4, 2020 1:57:10 AM
BIDEN, JOSEPH ROBINETTE JR(DEM) 42.62% Votes: 2,008,717
TRUMP, DONALD J.(REP) 56.19% Votes: 2,647,948.

I wake up and by 11:00 in the a.m. on 01/05/2020 a PA lead is down to 116226, from 660k - ish.

I’m looking at those old threads and everything happened in Pres. Biden’s favor after election day.

I may be nutz, but I’m seeing the same scenario playing out in favor of Harris.

Our population may have tripled since 1960, but we now use computers to tally the votes which is exponentially faster than the process used prior. Until approximately 2000 we knew the results before the sun came up compared to the days and weeks they currently take to determine the winners. Instead of asking questions, you immediately resort to sticking up for the corrupt deep state, which says a lot about you.

WTF do cats have to do with this? And you called me deranged….🤣

Yes. I ran elections for three years in the ‘80s for a city (RR’s first election was my first year - so exciting!). So much has changed since then, especially now that they can just dump ballots, authentic or otherwise, into a dropbox or mailbox. We didn’t deal with that loosey-goosey factor.

We didn’t have ballots that were anonymous; we simply would not accept anything as ridiculous as that. At the polling place, we could not deny any person from voting — disenfranchise him — even if his name didn’t appear on the voter roll. They voted, but their ballots were called “challenged”. They did have to put name and address on an outer envelope to be verified — or not — later by one of my Boards.

Back then people were more honest, including the State Election Boards who actually WANTED fair elections. Now, many want the exact opposite. I can’t even imagine being involved now, considering all the fol-de-rol, blatant dishonesty, drop boxes, etc. Glad I’m not in charge of any election.

When I saw video of Ruby and Shay running stacks of paper ballots — the same stack run through the machine multiple times — I got cold chills.

IIRC, branDUHn won NV by approx 37,000 votes. Subsequently, around 78,000 questionable ballots were noted. Margins wide enough to not be suspicious but also wide enough to not demand a recount. This years ballot has a question for or against ranked choice voting. And both sides are spending big money. Uh, NO!
