when they talked about poor nutrition, they were talking about those who cut out all carbs/sugars in the idea of ‘starving the cancers’- it’s not talking about adopting a “Low Carb” diet
That site isn’t the only site that claims that- medical sites also support what the site states-
[[FAT is a great source of energy, but cancer cells seem adverse to using it.]]
“Harvard study finds fatty diets may feed cancer and starve immune cells “

Cancer ‘feeds on’ many things- including carbs/sugars - cutting out all carbs which the body needs is not a good idea- low carb diet when fighting cancer may be the best
No such thing as an essential carb. The body can generate the carbs from stored fats. Brain runs better on Ketones than it does glucose.
If you cut out almost all carbs, it IS a “Low Carb Diet”. Full “Carnivore” is a ZERO Carb diet - AND healthy!
“Harvard study finds fatty diets may feed cancer and starve immune cells “
Sorry, but Harvard is a full Vegan-worshipping nutrition place. It has put out totally bogus “studies” for years, all intended to support avoiding meat and eating all plants!
Take a look at what your link says: “High-fat diets are known to increase the risk for many types of cancer...obesity may promote metastasis in otherwise benign cancers, and fatty tissues can provide “hideouts” for cancer stem cells”
Yes, OBESITY - being very fat - is linked to cancer. That has nothing to do with a LOW CARB diet, where you replace carb & sugar calories with fat calories! As usually, Harvard seems to assume a 40% carb diet is a “high fat” diet, and bad - but a 40% carb diet is still stuffing yourself with SUGARS.
The article goes on to say, “They found that tumors grew much faster in the obese mice...”
No kidding! So use a Low Carb (5-15% Carbs) to get lean, and continue it to starve cancer cells. All “Harvard” showed was BEING fat was bad for cancer (agreed), not eating a high fat but caloric appropriate diet is bad!
