Chinese-owned British automaker… built … in Mexico
You can leave out "British". It's Chinese-owned, Chinese-managed, and Chinese-designed. There's nothing British except the name, which the Chinese bought believing it still has some value. If you buy an MG, you're buying a Chinese car.
This is not the same as the Indian acquisition of Jaguar, which left the British management, British design and British manufacture (mostly) in place.
