Additioanl follow up...I get the gif to display on my desktop, but later on my iPhone I discovered it displayed the “?”. So does that mean the source site isn’t validating the authenticity of my iPhone? Again, not sure how to prevent picking sites that need the verification. Any suggestions welcome.

I don't now about mobile devices.   I am on my desktop and all I saw was a pixelated square instead of a question mark.   I right clicked over it and then clicked the menu option, open in another tab.   The new tab had a wait message until it validated that I was a real person.   Then the .gif came up.

I'm one of those guys you may have heard about who does not use Apple products.   My wife has an iPhone and I rarely am able to help her with iPhone questions.   Cheers, Mate!
