Whataburger was always a good choice at the time.

Some Chicago-based Venture Capital company bought them out.

But at least we have In N Out Burger

Not In-and-out Burger!!! Much better burger places here.... Kinkaid’s, Charley’s, Tommy’s, Chap’s to name just a few.

True! LJB and North Central has one, as I recall from a visit in 2018. There was actually a better hamburger place within walking distance if you can believe it, but it looks like it’s now a Mediterranean food place (still likely not bad). And there was of course an excellent Mexican place right nearby, as is typical.

That reminds me, El Taquito on East Grand Avenue was always a go-to for me.
