Right. Or he is another liar.

From abbreviated NBC News list:

After the 2002 arrest, authorities allegedly found the suspect in possession of a fully automatic machine gun, according to the Greensboro News & Record report. The arrest coincides with North Carolina criminal court records that include Routh’s conviction for possession of a weapon of mass destruction.

Records also show convictions for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of stolen property and hit-and-run. In those cases, which included misdemeanor convictions for violations such as resisting an officer and driving on a suspended license, the defendant received a suspended sentence and parole or probation.

A machinegun is a weapon of mass destruction? Sounds a bit hyperbolic.

“Right. Or he is another liar.”

I found it odd that the son who had a falling out with his dad just got a text from him about something as benign as being at the beach. In the article he says he was a great dad, a good dude, a nice guy. The way the kid phrased “I didn’t even know he was in Florida” (or similar) seems like maybe the son lives in Florida. Hopefully the FBI search the son’s phone.

Also later on in the article he said he didn’t think what his dad did was wrong. Well, I’m not saying he did it, but if he did, he wasn’t wrong. Elections suck and nothing ever changes....(paraphrased).
