I wonder why there is any question about it.   Veterans have heard of or have had first hand experiences with the third-worlders eating dog meat and other things we never would consider.

In 1976 one of our shift supervisors came to work mad because his Vietnamese wife had put strips of fish to dry on their apartment balcony rail.   A Staff Sergeant who I was in a training class with said they sold monkey arms and legs to eat on the streets in Viet Nam.   The Monkey paws would curl up when cooked and that was what you were suppoosed to hold to eat it.   Several guys over the years have said that third-worlders eat dog and cat.

Do a search and you'll find that in China and Viet Nam dog and cat meat is still a delicacy and common in many areas.   If they eat it in Asia why wouldn't it be the same with people from Africa and the Caribbean?

There is absolutely no doubt that illegal immigrants are eating dogs, cats and God knows what else in practically every state of the union. I’d bet a lot on it.

An old boss of mine was in the Phillipines in the 80’s working at a mine site. He was the guest of honor and was given the honor of killing the dog they were going to have for dinner.

“Hell if I was gonna’ do that, even if I did offend them.”

He stuck to the fruits and vegetables.

Exactly....California strays all started disappearing shortly after boat people got settled in.

In China, the Cantonese have a saying...”They eat anything on four legs except the table”.....

Just ask Barrack Obama! There’s a remark in one of his tomes—I think it might have been “Dreams of Whoever Was My Father” or something like that, in which he offers one word appraisals of those exotic dishes while relating his non-parochial experiences.
