Road kill gets a bad rap.

When I was a kid in rural Georgia.   We went to Swift's Rock Store in Dad's old 55 Ford Fairlane to get gas, about a mile from our house and on the way back there was a rabbit in the road near the old carriage lane that made up part of our driveway to the farm. &nsbp; We picked it up and had it for dinner.   It had only been there for a few short minutes because it hadn't been there on the way out.   Road kill gets a bad rap, I agree.
