IMO, B-52's and DEVO really moved the needle of the New Wave movement! These two bands SHOULD get MOST of the credit for thrusting the New Wave movement forward.

I agree about Siouxsie, and New Order, Split Enz (GREAT songs).. WHAT ABOUT 'X', an AWESOME BAND especially live and I saw them many times at the Whiskey and Roxy in Hollywood.

Find some of the live DEVO performances on YouTube. What a FUN band to watch and hear.. talented !!!

And to omit SUBURBAN LAWNS (Janitor song) would be a mistake on this list.

You’re my music soul brother! I literally just today looked up Crowded House on Amazon to see if I missed any new music, ONLY to satiate my Split Enz craving
