When you climb the ladder of success using the color of your skin instead of hard work, ability, and dedication, you develop a sense of entitlement.

It's like owing your success to nepotism, title, or family position. When you unconsciously know you didn't earn it, you have to compensate by creating an excuse (like, "I'm entitled).

Fani Willis is the kind of person who, when bothered by someone says, "Don't you know who I am?"
