This is another interesting video—counter-intel guy Jim Doty discusses the Bennewitz case in the beginning of the video and then gives a very detailed discussion of The Aviary.

He makes the case they were a benevolent organization seeking controlled disclosure within .gov.

He claimed they were sanctioned by the .gov and were not a rogue operation.

He also claims they still exist.

I have no problem with his narrative—as far as it goes.

As I remember, the Aviary consisted of Hal Puthoff, John Alexander, Kit Green, Ron Pandolfi, Robert Collins, Richard Doty, and Bruce Maccabee.

I know little about Pandolfi or Collins, but the rest are still active, at least as individuals. I think Collins was an Air Force guy, but that's all I remember (AFOSI?).

I've never trusted Doty because of his presumed role in the death of Bennewitz.
