Dropping out of a doctoral program just three years after starting it is not “almost” getting a doctorate degree.
And he was going for an EdD, not even a PhD.
Hey, c’mo man !
He coulda been a “dr.”Jill
If he had still been enrolled in courses, it’d be pretty hard to tell whether or not he was “close” to completing the degree. But when he hadn’t even been enrolled at the school for 7 years... it’s like, yeah, this is just more Walz b-lls—t. The chances of anyone absent from a program that long returning and finishing are near zero.
The bleakest time in a grad students life is writing the thesis. Not researching it but writing it. Finishing it, turning it in and having it accepted is the difference between boy and man or woman.
I’m gonna start calling him “Dr. Tim” anyway, in homage to Dr. Jill. Ridicule, people, it’s in Alinsky’s book.
