At least the Harris ads won't be on much longer. I don't watch any sports. I'm an old lady, but understand your frustration. I subscribe to several YouTube channels, mostly historical, and they either start with ads for stupid crap, or lately, political ads featuring Bernie Sanders, Harris, and Obama. I make sure I mute my laptop, and hit the "skip ad" button when it shows up.

I’m not really knowledgeable on how YouTube ad charging works. But I assume if I watch all the way through an ad the advertiser gets charged more than if I hit the “skip” button. So ‘RAT ads (there are many and they run often) I let run to completion. Trump and other Republican ads I hit the “skip” button as soon as possible. Every penny I can cost the ‘RATS and every penny I can save Trump gives me satisfaction.
