If he’s been diagnosed early, he should make out fine... Lot’s of people now survive Prostate cancers... If they catch them early.
Get a colonoscopy and do your PSA counts regularly.

Yes ... and the finger. My husband's PSAs were normal but the doctor felt a very slight difference in the prostrate. Biopsy showed cancer. Still encapsulated within the prostate but it was there.
Long story short, he had the surgery (look up the DaVinci robot), they removed it with all the nerves intact, and everything is great.
