If it was caught before it has metastasized, it’s pretty much 100% curable.
If he has a great surgeon, he won’t have any more than 3-4 months of urinary and ED issues. After that, those issues won’t be a problem.
He will also likely need a penis pump to get the blood flowing for a while.
I was diagnosed with metastatic prostate cancer with 8 bone mets 10 years ago this month. Was told by one oncologist I’d have 3-5 years.
