This commission will be “tasked with conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and making recommendations for drastic reforms,” the 2024 GOP presidential nominee said during his address to The Economic Club of New York.

The Republican nominee used the opportunity to highlight Americans’ economic suffering caused by the disastrous policies implemented by the Biden-Harris administration. Contrasting his vision with that put forward by Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump noted the 2024 Democrat nominee’s support for “communist price controls, wealth confiscation, energy annihilation, reparations,” and “mass amnesty and citizenship for tens of millions of migrants who will consume trillions of dollars in federal benefits and destroy Social Security and Medicare.”

Sounds exciting. The African American community has done more than any other group making us live up to our ideals as a nation and he’s the best example.

the last thing I want is an efficient government.

And accountable government sure.

A constitutional government, absolutely.

Short of those, and evil government that is more efficient is not a good thing.

Maybe Elon can start by eliminating EV subsidies and mandates that destroyed the entire American auto industry and all the ancillary industries that it supported...

What a minute...

When Elon took over twitter he fired 90% of the deadwood staff. The federal government is probably at 95% deadwood.

Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). How fitting.

Democratic and Republican Trump supporters need to make sure that he understands that we don't want an unconstitutionally big federal government, even if it runs efficiently.

In fact, Trump supporters must take the first MAJOR step in draining the swamp by supporting hopeful Trump 47 with a new, Constitution-respecting Congress in November, new lawmakers and executives for the states too, not only so that he won't be a lame duck president from the first day of his second term, new lawmakers also supporting him to finish draining the swamp.

Getting rid of the swamp includes surrendering state powers that the corrupt feds have been stealing from the states for generations back to the states.

After the federal government is once again constitutionally limited to delivering the mail, one of the very few main powers that the states have actually expressly constitutionally given to the feds to dictate peacetime domestic policy, Trump can spend the remainder of his second term on the golf course.

After all, militia readiness, treaties and trade aside, playing golf is symbolic for the president of the constitutionally limited power federal government that the drafters of the Constitution had intended imo.

Finally, let's not allow the anti-Trump media try to fade our memories of what we witnessed on July 13.

The commission is a good idea.

Let's get Trump elected and turn Musk loose with a meat axe.

Telegraphing moves and intentions like that akin to field commanders letting the enemy in on their plans. At the very least, it emboldens resistance if not reshapes it.
