“What is a ‘whoopie pie’?................
Northern slang”

I’m in New York, is that NORTH enough? I’ve NEVER heard of a ‘whoopie pie’.

I’ve heard it from people in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and New Brunswick.

Never heard of a Whoopie Pie? Is it named after the black lady with funny hair on the View? Nothing like that exists in California. But then you do not have Corn fried taquitos.

Big Amish sweet. Right up there with shoo fly pie. Two chocolate (cake) cookies with a white frosting inbetween.
