Thanks for the link to the Ethical Skeptic. Good read.

I am very skeptical of the CDC. They have shown themselves to be more concerned with politics than truth for decades.

If you cannot trust the CDC records, how are agencies to make decisions when they do not have facts to base the decisions on?

Speculation: They fly by the seat of their pants, and base decisions on an ideological basis. Much of these involve unproven assumptions about the nature of reality, much of which is false.
