A retired Colorado police officer has been freed after being accused of sexually abusing his daughter, but his ex wife claims she has been arrested for refusing therapy.
Rachel Pickrel-Hawkins says she was sent to jail after she refused to send her two youngest sons to court-ordered therapy with their father, former Aurora police sergeant Michael Hawkins, 55.
Pickrel-Hawkins was found in contempt of court after she decided not to continue with reunification therapy ordered as part of her divorce proceedings, which started before criminal charges were filed against Hawkins

TBF, the father was charged after this order was given. The question is, wth is her lawyer doing, now that the father has been charged.
The kids are now witnesses in a criminal case and can’t have contact with the defendant (father).
I guess it’s not just President Biden who’s allowed to get away with raping his daughter.

All family law lawyers know you can’t do reunification therapy with an abuser. What the heck is going on here?

She was found in contempt on July 6th and he was charged July 29th.
The real question is wth has her lawyer been doing since July 29th that this hasn’t been scuttled until after the criminal trial (which is probably not scheduled yet).
A divorce is involved so who knows what is true.
Family courts. Usually the men are screwed. Now... with this.... welcome to the club ladies. This has been happening to men for ages. I have no idea if her claims are true. But I do know men’s claims have been ignored in democrat run America. I feel bad for her child. Children are simply tools of the democrat machine.
We are one of the few that are skeptical. Regardless the child is the victim. Both parents may be horrible people. But when it comes to this stuff I always believe noting presented by the press or a spurned woman on social media.
