It’s one thing to oppose new construction, however the destruction of existing infrastructure that is still in use is something VERY different, especially as it was destroyed just as cold weather demand was starting to grow.

Ukraine’s destruction of that pipeline was an act of war, yet the Germans are funding and arming Ukraine?

Make it make sense.

Politically opposing a pipeline is one thing.
Destroying a functioning pipeline of a third country to influence your war with another country is casus belli. Germany has gone to war for less.
