I am about to assist in opening one up in my City. It helps eveyone. Not just the woman and the child..it helps the taxpayers. The sooner we get them back into Society, the better it is for everyone or else they will be on social services FOREVER. Please don’t tell me it doesn’t work. I see success EVERY SINGLE DAY. I assisted with obtaining the funding to open a residential treatment center for women run by a non-profit. They named it after me (Hildy’s House) and everyday I see women getting their lives together and their children back. If I never do anything in my life again, this is enough. I know addiction. 18 years ago I went through residential treatment for alcoholism. Today I am a County Supervisor and in January I will be an Arizona State Senator.
