Sounds like BS to me. Anytime I start hearing this ultra processed food crap, I know some socialist anti-free market government initiative is about to be proposed.
There have been cheap processed foods for many decades. It’s more likely microplastics in the body, or other chemicals in our water supplies etc
There is a new disease called plasticosis, too much plastic getting into food.
