The doc mentioned in the above article specializes in GI cancers.

You know what the bushwa regarding the processed food excuse has me wondering...

WTH are the CoupFlu vaxxes doing, not just to the immune system, but also to the gut biome...

Inquiring minds want to know.

I recently started looking up food additives (a few weeks ago) in relation to how they impact our immune system/gut health etc.

Cargeenan (found in seaweed), which is a thickener or binder in foods (non fat, lowfat milk, ice cream, etc) can 'degrade' in acid to become harmful. They have studies going back to the 50's saying carageenan DOES break down to a toxic form when exposed to stomach acid. "Degraded carrageenan, or poligeenan, is not safe to eat. Research in animals indicates that it causes gut tumors and ulcers, and may even trigger colon cancer.

Carnuba Wax (a coating found on plant surfaces to retain water) I bought a chewable (gummie) vitamin which listed Carnuba Wax. It's also in some aspirin, Benadryl, Skittles etc. I found a paper on Crohns Disease speculating that carnuba wax and other food emulsifiers, thickeners triggers inflammation in the gut mucosa (cytokine cascade). Externally, on the skin, it can cause " dry skin, acne, rashes, inflammation, dermatitis, dizziness, nausea, blurry vision, and dryness, irritation, or burning of the eyes," so I can imagine that it might cause internal inflammation. Some people are allergic to it.

I found one source that said carnuba wax can cause acute colitis, which I cannot find now. Some HIV research said that nanoparticles of carnuba wax triggered a stronger immune response without inflammation - which was a desirable feature in their development of a vaccine. So I don't know if 'triggering' an immune response without inflammation is a good thing. I found one British article which said there are no long-term studies of its use. Hmmmm....maybe NOT gonna buy vitamins or foods that use it. It's an indigestible plasticizer - what could possibly go wrong.

Seed Oils - disrupt the gut biome. To avoid these you must not buy any prepared foods and hunt for vitamins which do not include it. Seed oils in food account for 30% of daily calories for most Americans. It's rare to find something in a supermarket that doesn't contain seed oils. Soybean oil is most common, and yet it supposedly brings about 'genetic damage', changes in the brain and 'immune toxicity'

3 potential downsides to soybean oil
  • Increases risk of diabetes. Type II diabetes is caused by persistently elevated blood glucose levels, which are accompanied by insulin resistance or decreased insulin production. ...
  • Liver diseases. ...
  • Heart diseases. ...
  • Immune toxicity.

Many of the vitamins have sunflower oil, saflower oil, soybean oil, vegetable oil etc. Sure it's a small amount, but taken daily along with all the vegetable oils in every prepared supermarket food.... Besides, if there are supplements which don't include it, then why not switch?

Maltodextrin - disrupts the gut biome. I've seen it in spices and vitamins.

Sorbitol - can disrupt the gut biome. I'm surprised at how many chewable supplements contain it (gummies and quick dissolve B-12).

Silicon Dioxidea thickener, anticaking agent, and carrier for fragrances and flavors. Tested on mice with celiac gene, significantly altered immune function. It's found in many supplements (e.g., calcium supplements - to make tablets look white??? WHY?) causes inflammation in the gut of mice. Silicon dioxide is abrasive on a microscopic scale so it is irritating to the lungs if the dust is inhaled, and is used as an insecticide (crawling over it lacerates the body of the insect which then dies of dehydration). Since silicon dioxide is considered chemically safe, there's no upper limit on how much of it products can contain.

Stearic Acid -"shown to inhibit endothelial cell growth, as well as induce inflammation, apoptosis, and accentuate intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1) expression.34 Similar actions may also be occurring in the intestinal tissue.

ransomnote: Pretty much any additive that is not an obvious food ingredient that I've checked out has turned out to be a factor negatively impacting gut health, which often impacts immune function. That last one, stearic acid - is in most vitamins I look at or buy. I hadn't found anything negative about it until today. Many of these ingredients have numerous links assuring the public that they are approved for human consumption, completely safe...until you keep looking. I know some are 'just animal studies' or 'tested in large amounts', but that is not proof they are safe, even in small amounts. Perhaps the impacts are small and steady over time - so long term studies would be required to prove many common food additives already deemed safe are not good for health - and no one will do that.

Surely the CDC and FDA know all this, and yet they never say anything to improve human health.
