I'm not convinced that's true. I lean toward the hypothesis that we now have "selections" rather than elections.
I think they have their priorities straight (we’re just a little slow on the uptake).

Unless the signs advocated violence, it would seem to me that this is at heart a 1A free speech issue. (And also misdemeanor defacing public property by putting the signs on public signposts).

I concur. I do not believe the country is voting for this.
Same in other communist countries. I don’t believe people voted the criminals in to power. Most of the time they have to resort to violence at the end... that’s the hint.

The politicians brought millions into the country to replace us. They forced us to pay to make our replacements comfortable. They allowed the “migrants” to rape, kill and steal.
So it’s not surprising that the politicians fly into a rage when the normal people say something about the situation and weaponize law enforcement against the complainers.
Re-elect Trump or the situation will be irreversible.
