Pot was universally available and relatively cheap in the 70s. We kids had no issues obtaining it. Though $40 for an ounce of Columbian Gold was considered very expensive, most ounces were in the $15-$20 range.
My first bag of Mexican dirt weed was $15. It was junk, had to smoke an entire fatty to get a buzz. Second bag I almost didn’t buy after the first one, was some really good Jamaican. Laughed hysterically at the dumbest things.
