Do you mean Anthony Johnson, a black man, sued in Virginia to enslave John Casor, a black man, thereby starting black slavery in the colonies??

Little hint for ya, the Irish were the first slaves in the colonies and they don’t use such excuses to justify poor performance.

Personally, I’m fed up with the constant whining of blacks.

**********

May be so but they aren’t the basics that was the subject of the
civil war back in the 1860s. It was the white slave owners who
wanted to keep the black as slaves.

The USA today is still allowing the foreign people into the USA
The inhabitants of this country today should be taking a stand
against the illegals coming in today and making an effort to get
a system established to where we aren’t being over run by them.
JMO yours may vary as is your right.

“ Little hint for ya, the Irish were the first slaves in the colonies and they don’t use such excuses to justify poor performance.”

Originally, Europeans were shipped over as indentured servants, who would work for 7 years to pay their passage and get their freedom.

This changed after Bacon’s Rebellion in 1675

“ The gentry viewed a surplus of landless former servants as dangerous, as Berkeley wrote, “How miserable that man is that Governs a People when six parts of Seaven at least are Poor Endebted Discontented and Armed.”
The shift from servant to slave labor accelerated once the slave trade made African slaves available in large numbers. “
