Back in 1961, President Kennedy asked the NSC to war-game scenarios where the Soviets were successful in decapitating the federal government with a surgical nuclear strike on Washington. The NSC reported back that:

The proposed 28th Amendment would give governors the power to replace congresscritters immediately instead of the time delay necessary to set up a special election.

Not having X number of congresscritters around for a time isn’t going to be any kind of great amendment worthy loss in an emergency. I could get behind holding an election ASAP, but it’s not like there’s gonna be negative ramifications from having 100+_less congresscritters bending the Republic over for some months…🙄

Thank you, this helps me understand. Adding a new Amendment will take a lot of time and will very possibly fail anyway, so this appears to be a lot of smoke without much fire. From what I’ve read, there are already continuity of government plans, and PEADs on this matter.

So how many dirtbag pedo congresscritters would we have to arrest for the new 28th to kick in? One at a time? one hundred? I doubt if the Russians could hit DC hard enough to clean up everything that needs cleaning. We’re going to have to do it our own selves.
