I noticed that as a child. I went to many different schools, and saw new faces with almost every grade. Kids that were “funny looking” or homely, once I got to know them, looked very different, I saw them with different eyes.

Online friends are sort of seen with “inner eyes” - we don’t know what others look like, for the most part. Real beauty is in the heart and mind and soul. It can shine through the outward vehicle of course.
