When the early primitive style of dna dating was done to appear to show a 1500s age of something about the Shroud, the comedian Mark Russell said:
I really was open to the idea of the Shroud being 2,000 years old and genuine. Right until the researchers got down to the International Ladies Garment Workers union label near the bottom.
I think Ian Wilson has the stronger case.

I’ve read, I think, every major work on the shroud in English and believe it to be genuine. This one I may or may not get, if that’s the depth of its analysis: the early believers would have been torn between the sacredness of the object and the fact that the death wrappings were ritually unclean in Judaism, handling such was forbidden, and anyone who handled them, ie, to display them, would also have been considered unclean. They had enough to worry about with the Jewish officials having it in for them to add another layer of trouble

I love the fact that the shroud is still with us, places described in the Bible can be found and examined, writings from the time of Jesus can be read and studied, but those are just things. The truth of Jesus is so much more than those items, Jesus is a matter for the heart and for faith. Bless us our Lord as we honor the gifts you left behind for us to remember you by.
If it was real, you don’t need to write a book about why you would keep it hidden and secret. Somebody would steal it.
God breaking his own commandment
is that possible?
1. YOU WILL LOVE GOD ABOVE ALL THINGS
There is only one God, creator and almighty, to worship. “I, the Lord, am your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them” (Ex 20, 2-5).
If it is genuine and DNA can be extracted, then a clone can be created.
